The first couple of years my kids were in school I would just run to the store and buy the box of Valentine cards, but as they got older I decided to make it a little more fun for them, and I liked that it was a non-candy idea. I started ordering fun little gifts from Oriental Trading or Amazon and creating fun Valentines to go with it. I’m sure you could find some great little party favors at Wal-Mart or Target, but our closest Target/Wal-Mart is an hour away, so I usually end up ordering. 🙂 Last year I saw these cute little Valentine Ninjas and knew that my son and his friends would LOVE them (his class had a crazy amount of boys). We ordered them, and got busy creating a Valentine to go with it. On Valentine’s day he came home and told me that everyone LOVED his Valentines. YAY!
Today I am sharing my printable with you so you can use them for your little ninjas too! But before you start printing, here is a quick tutorial to make it a little easier.
You will need my Ninja Valentine Printable (link below), Bendable Valentine Ninjas from Oriental Trading, glue dots/tape, and scissors/paper cutter.
Last year I used tape, and the Ninjas didn’t stick very well. This year I had some (psst…that’s an affiliate link) glue dots left over from a craft, so I used them and they worked perfectly! I highly recommend using glue dots, but tape will work in a pinch.
Now, print and cut out the amount of Valentine’s you will need. Than have your son/daughter write their name in the ‘From’ box. Once you have them all ready, grab your ninjas and start putting a glue dot onto the back of each one, and attaching them to each card.
Aren’t they so cute!?! My son and his friends really liked them. We ordered more this year and will be using them again.
Are you loving these Ninja Valentine Printables as much as me? Then click the link below to print the cards out.
We would love to hear if you use these for Valentine’s Day, so leave us a comment letting us know. Thanks for stopping by!
